Cheryl Cole Says She Hates Seeing Herself in Photos and Doesn’t Think She Is Very Attractive
Though the 26-year-old singer recently topped the Lypsy Celebrity Lips of the Year poll as 2009’s most kissable celebrity, Cheryl Cole says that she doesn’t like looking at photos of herself. FHM voted the X Factor judge this year’s sexiest woman, but Cole insists she doesn’t enjoy posing in front of a camera lens. The latest Cheryl Cole music video song was produced by Will I.A.M from the Black Eyed Peas.
She recently posed for a Sin City-themed shoot for Q magazine, and in the accompanying interview Cole said: “I have to be totally honest, I hate doing photo sessions, that’s my worst thing to do because I feel like I’m not very good behind the camera in terms of posing if you like… I’m not very good at it, and I hate looking at photos of myself.”
After enjoying years of success with Girls Aloud, Cole admits in the interview that she still wasn’t prepared to be such a successful solo act.
She said: “You prepare yourself for the worst, especially going it alone, but then it’s just better than you ever thought and you can’t really ever be prepared for that either - so it feels a bit weird getting my head around it.”
She also spoke about “Three Words,” the singer’s new single featuring the Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am.
“‘Three Words’ is one of, if not my favorite off the whole album. It sounds fresh, it sounds new - I just love it, I think it’s a really special track. I think it’s kind of a bit folky - folky dance if there’s such a thing?”
