All Access To The Goodies

A major change in air travel and hospitality was sparked off by Mr Nicholas Bredimus, who linked them to the software industry to produce new procedures. He has worked on initiatives ranging from the creation of software programs that automate resource and time intensive processes to improving aircraft safety and even designs for high value houses. You could have predicted, mind you, that with his family history he was sure to reach distinction. Coming together from a true melting pot, his kindred can be traced to classical times, with the maternal branch based in Germany and Scotland. An equivalently broad mingling typifies the paternal line; previous to coming to America in the late nineteenth century, Bredimus’ antecedents lived in Luxembourg and England.

Even following emigration to the United States, they kept their drive and determination to go far. Nicholas, as well as his sisters and brothers, was a child of a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and his wife, a practicing nurse. He went on to make his home in the Lone Star State for several years as well as in Scottsdale, AZ, Reston, VA and Kansas City, MO.

Once his education had been completed, Nicholas Bredimus would sign up for several high-powered posts with several of the most illustrious and strongest airlines. Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), Hughes Airwest - all three would at one time or another respectively appoint him as a vice president. Most important, even considering this, was his work as an inventive programmer for the airline industry.

He is most recognized for a particular project, his aircraft maintenance applications that come into use by most airlines. He turned his attention next to recording and making reservations. For both air travel and hotels he developed software to offload much of the work required prior to this approach. He also coded a piece of software by the name of QuikTix, an automatic ticket ordering network. Though it was undeniably his specialty, he has regularly worked in other areas. In his own firm, as a Division Manager with American Express, and as the first president of AMR Travel Services his career speaks for itself.

So is he still active? Very much so - his capabilities are still very much ready to answer the call no matter his having left former interests behind. Currently, his creativity is on display in high priced houses deploying many of the cutting edge technologies on the planet to date.
